Student Showcase Winter 2016: Global Commodities.
This past semester, students enrolled in HISC29: Global Commodities course worked on various aspects of historical research related to the tea production, migration and consumption around the world in 19th and 20th centuries. Learning about research methods and approaches to historical investigation, they formed into groups to produce Fusion Tables maps as well as Storymaps summarizing their findings. Digital Scholarship Unit librarians were involved once again with instruction and student consultation of these digital projects. You can browse the Storymaps the students produced below:
